Noise cancellation or not?

<span id="INSERTION_MARKER">I'm considering buying a pair of noise cancellation headphones which I would be running from my ipod, and have narrowed it down to the sennheiser pxc 350's.

However I recently tried out the skullcandy roc nations and was very impressed with them, even though they do not have noise cancellation.I would be using the headphones mainly in and out of the house, but also for travelling now and again.

And yes, I prefer over the ear headphones.Anyone with thoughts or suggestions?
