NOD32 has been great here, with a low footprint, frequent updates, extremely dependable.
Can be used with WinXP 32-bit as well as WinXP 64-bit operating sysems.
Norton at first was just a system hog, then became incompetent in it's features and support, now is just simply absymal in most every respect. It is very odd that it continues to find favor with some reviewers?
Norton never "killed" any machine I had it installed on, but it was not even a competent piece of software.
It missed to many problems and cured very few.
