No Visuals!

Nov 24, 2004 1:51PM PST

I just finished putting together my new computer and I turned it on. Everything seemed to be working fine! LED lights were lighting up. Fans were spinning, and nothing seemed to be making weird noises. The only problem is that the monitor is not receiving any signal. Its just blank. I think this is because I am using a 6600 GT video card and not onboard video (I actually did not get a mobo with integrated video). Therefore I think I just need to install the driver for the 6600 GT, but the problem is: how do I this if I can't see the screen/BIOS! Any ideas?

Since the card has dual monitor support, is there any way this is related. Can you change ports or even plug in 2 monitors to see if they work? Now, I would guess you would get some beeps if the card was not inserted completely but I'd definately recheck that.

I know the monitor is fine (was using it on our other computer until last night). I also tried plugging it into both of the ports but neither one worked. Thanks for the suggestions though!
