I'm having this problem with two separate computers. With both I have no video output when I boot up. I can tell its getting to the OS because I'll have to hold in the power button in order to shut down the computers. In both cases I suspect that BIOS is set to use the internal video controllers but I need it to use the external (or get the internal ones to work, they've stopped working).
Thanks for your time. Any ideas?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
