If you research DV6000 recall (see google) this is one of the failing areas. I won't go over settings or reinstalling the OS since you claim you've done all that.
There is no card. It's all on the motherboard.

I have an HP dv6255us laptop Specs: 1.8 GHz AMD Turion ? 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-56, 2048MB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm), NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 (UMA), Integrated 10/100BASE-T Ethernet LAN, 802.11b/g WLAN
The video output through the VGA port and the S-video port have both quit working. No matter what settings I try to change or which external source I try to feed to I get nothing. I'm wondering if it is a hardware problem, would it require a complete new motherboard or is there a separate circuit board for the video output?
