No Video Capture Card??!

Jul 16, 2005 3:16PM PDT

Maybe I am ignorant, but I don't see a Video Capture Card listed as part of the features. Windows Media Center is great, but I think mostly useless if you don't have a video capture card to watch and record tv with...

Am I wrong? Or does this mean people who buy the T6520 will also need to buy a TV Tuner Card?

The Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition is an Opeating System like for instance Windows XP Home or Windows XP Pro, and no one is required to furnish a Tuner, and usually do not do so on low cost computers. Checking the specs for a Tuner, Personal Video Recorder (PVR), remote control, should be on a shoppers check list if he desires, just like checking to see if there is a slot for AGP or PCI-e video card.

Perhaps you may desire to wait for the emachine T6522 that some have purchased in advance at Circuity City and reported that it has a Tuner & Remote for $699 after $50 rebate.
