no usb in car want to play mem stick thru radio needs ?

I have a usb mem stick and want to play it thru my aux port or lighter in my car since it has no usb port. I cant find an adapter anywhere that will do this , any ides as to where u can get 1 and what it is called so i might find 1 on ebay or something !

Well, the usb is digital and the aux port is analog. So you need something quite sofisticated. Let's say a laptop. You use your favorite mediaplayer (like VLC-player or iTunes or Windows Media Player) to play the mp3's on that stick (or you can copy them to the hard drive) and connect the headphone jack to the aux in of your car stereo using a simple adapter (I bought one for a euro on a flea market in Berlin, Germany a few years ago).

But of course, any mp3-player or smartphine with enough storage (you don't tell if it's a 2 GB stick or a 128 GB stick) with a headphone out will do, once you forget about the USB-stick and just copy the contents to the player using your PC to that player. That's much cheaper than a laptop, and easier to take with you.
