Some things to try (in order)
1)Turn up the bass on the ipod's equalizer
2)Ensure connections are adequate
3)Listen to a song with lots of bass so you are sure to hear it
4)Turn up the sub
5)Turn up the bass on the receiver's EQ
6)Try putting it in stereo mode
7) make sure the sub is enabled on the receiver when you are on a certain input or listening mode
Lastly
Get an ipod dock for it (they sound better than 1/4" to RCA anyway)
Hi All -
I have my iPod hooked up to my 1909 through the VCR/iPod input in the back. All of my speakers play the iPod, but my subwoofer does not, On the output icons on the receiver, all icons are listed, including the subwoofer. I have made sure that it is turned on, on both the receiver and the sub itself. While watching TV or playing XBOX (both HDMI), the sub works fine. Any ideas?
I am going directly from the iPod's headphone jack to the rcas in the back, and have also tried another input.
Thanks,
Rian
