If this is just a LG TV issue you can make it a warranty claim or a good reason to return it.

Vizeo TV no longer displays subtitles on Amazon

It is also a Vizeo problem after working for the past at least three years. So *******, it is not just an LG problem, but more likely an Amazon problem. And no, you cannot return a six year old TV.

Thanks for all your feedbacks. I have since found that Amazon on LG TVs made before 2012 did not support subtitles not did Samsungs either. It was a bit annoying as I only bought this TV last week not knowing about this problem

Amazon worked fine with subtitles until recently on my Vizeo TV. Something has been changed. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it with no effect.
