no sound with sis 7012

Help went to sis to get tech support. They have none availble tell me to contact maker of computer but it was built by private party who I have lost contact with and can't seem to locate. I have reloaded driver but still no sound can someone help me figure this out

What I found was a few things.

1. I have to install the motherboard drivers before the audio drivers.
2. I might have to select what type speakers are connected.
3. The volume has to be pushed up in the volume controls and not muted.

There are far too many SIS boards so without the exact model and maker I can't write what drivers you might need.

There is also a possibility of dead sound card, cable or speaker issues. No driver will fix that.
