When I see this I connect an optical link from the device that is doing the Netflix back to the audio system.
Might be other things but this continues to fix it.
I have a Samsung UN65D8000, a Denon AVR-2311CI A/V receiver, and a Panasonic DMP-BDT210 blu-ray player. My dvd player and DirecTv DVR are connected to the receiver with HDMI inputs and the receiver HDMI runs to the TV's HDMI 2 (ARC) input. Both the TV and my disk player are hard wired to my network router.
I have sound for every other application...TV through the DVR, DVD viewing, and Netflix through my disk player internet connection. But when I go to Netflix through the Samsung SmartHub, no sound. The HDMI out on the receiver is supposed to be capable of two way sound and the ARC connection on the TV is supposed to give me sound. Can anyone help?
