No sound out of my Cd Changer

It's listed as a CD Changer, DX-C390
6-Disc Carousel CD Changer.
So I tried all three possible connections and your saying I didn't hook it up correctly? I know it works because I took it to my neighbor's house and hooked it up to his receiver and it worked fine.
Why when I click on reply does nothing happen?

Odd about reply.

I reviewed the discussion and it sounds just as HAL 9000 said. "It can only..."

You may have to have a tech come over and find out why it's not working. The devices look compatible.

Re: CD changer

If there is sound when connected to your neighbours receiver, and not when it's connected to your soundbar, the logical conclusion is that the changer gives sound but something is wrong with your soundbar or its settings.

Why do you think it's the player that is to blame for not giving sound when obviously it does.
