Question

No sound from the soundbar

Jun 23, 2017 12:15AM PDT

Hi,

The soundbar was working fine while I was watching TV (LG 50LB6300) but when I accidentally changed the input of the soundbar to BT my soundbar stopped producing sound even though I changed the input source of the soundbar back to its original settings (HDMI) to watch TV. My TV settings "sound out" is also set on External Speaker (Optical/HDMI ARC). I also tested if the problem was the speakers of the soundbar, it wasn't, because I tested it using my phone (BT) .My soundbar and TV are also controlled by the same remote therefore my simplink is on already. For some reason the soundbar is no longer receiving signal through HDMI after I changed its input source to BT.

Please help what do I do? Thank You.

Folk that had the setup done by others and no one left a note how to set it up. You've tried what you know and it sounds right. Call the makers and see if they have new ideas before you get the repair person to come in.

Then turn everything off. Turn it back on. Plug the HDMI cables back. That "may" reset it.
