Resolved Question

No Sound from Subwoofer HW-H450 soundbar

Mar 30, 2015 2:42AM PDT

Hello.
I have had this soundbar now for 9 months. I have never had a problem with it at all until now.
I moved house 2 weeks ago and now the subwoofer doesn't produce any sound.
I packed it back into its original box to move it and wired it up as it was before.
I can and have successfully linked the subwoofer to the soundbar but still no sound. Then after about 1 minute both the power and wifi light start to flash simultaneously.

Any help at all much appreciated.
I am to a point now where if I press the ID Reset button on the subwoofer it does nothing unless I unplug the subwoofer first then pkug it back in. Wait for it to settle and then try again. It will work once. But I get no sound fromy subwoofer.

I have previously linked the Subwoofer. It links fine if I unplug the sub and plug it back in again. It will link once But not emit any sound/bass then after about 1 min both the power light and the wifi light start to flash again together. The ID Reset button then will not work again unless I unplug it and pkug it back in again.
I have tried using music and movies but still hear nothing. I have also played with the settings for the subwoofer.

Is there anything that coulgld be plugged in wwrong? I have my Optical lead between the soundbar and the TV. I also have an HDMI lead from the HDMI OUT TV port on the soundbar to my HDMI 3 IN (AVI) port on my TV..

Thanks

Just to complete this thread. I took my sounbar and subwoofer for a repair. The technician found that the subwoofer had become faulty but also found a fault with the main board in the soundbar.
new parts were ordered and a new subwoofer and I had all my appliances back within 5 days as I took it in on a Friday and collected on a Tuesday.

Great service.

Hello. I've been having this problem about linking the subwoofer but the blue led just wont stop blinking. I've done step by step the instructions provided above with no success. My problem is I bought this product from Amazon but Im from Venezuela and it would be very dificult and expensive to send it back for service so is there a way you can help me at least by providing the name or part number of the replaced piece. Hope you can help me with this.
