No sound

by dm33buckeyes / June 3, 2016 1:38 PM PDT

I have not had any sound on my cpu for a couple months, I bought new speakers and that did not fix it. Made sure all drivers are up to date. Finally just bought a new sound card and installed it with the newest drivers. Still no sound. I have run troubleshooting and everything. In the volume mixer it shows the speakers working, but i still have no sound. I just went downstairs to grab another set of speakers, but first decided to make sure they work on the cpu down there. Apperently that computer hasnt had sound for a while either according to my parents. Both computers show speakers working but no sound. Very frustrating. Any help would be great.

try one of these for under $10. Seem to work in most cases. Just curious, did the new card comes with windows10 driver? I assume that's your computer OS.
