No Sound

Hi.I recently had to uninstall/reinstall Windows ME.Since then,I have no sound.I think I reinstalled all the original driver discs,etc.I have a Dell Dimension 4100.What & where is the sound card?The installed Dell Support states something about "Plug n Play".I have no idea if my system uses this.Thanks for any help.vincec

It's a dell so probably integrated sound. Try downloading the latest driver from the dell website. Go into device manager to see if it is even listed or has conflicts in the sound section. if conflicts, well see first.
