Well heres the problem.
My computer froze up, which it sometimes does, so i had to shut it down. When i restarted i got no signal. I switched out the video card with an old one and nothing. All cables ok. My machine is pretty old, but the video card is newer than my pc.
My machine seems to run but no display. I get no beeps, fans run and everything. Earlier in the week the BIOS was saying that the channels of my RAM were unequal. I think this might be the problem I'm not sure. I'm running a Pentium 4 chip, XP SP3,3 gigs of ram, Geforce 7950.
Any help is appreciated.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
