Most are folk that don't know how to set up the PC to output on HDMI. PC's don't actually see and automatically enable the HDMI output so where to start since I've yet to enable the PC HDMI the same way 2 times in a row. Could this be an awful mis-step on today's PCs?

I can't help because there are some hundred different ways to turn on the HDMI ports on PCs today. We have a handful of Window versions, driver control panels (some hundred) so it's true that this is a mess of a problem.

Now you see why Windows is losing market share over this area. Share more details if you want to keep trying.
