No picture on new LNA32450

Wow! What a disappointment. My husband spent the whole day mounting and cabling the new LNA32450 to have it ready to be watched as a surprise for me when I got home from work, and NO PICTURE!!! We can hear it just fine, and the screen goes from black to navy blue when you turn it on and that's about it. The same is true whether we use the cable box or the DVD player. My husband is a mechanical engineer, so I doubt it's anything he did wrong. Mr. Samsung, are you out there? Help!!
