Multiple things to get sharing to work

Sharing works on a multitude of levels. You can share a drive, share a folder, share a printer. In order to share a folder, the properties of that folder have to be edited in order to enable sharing. The same with a drive, the same with a printer. Until that is done, sharing cannot be achieved. In addition, with Windows XP, you cannot share the "program files" folders or "windows" folders. You can share most of the other ones.

Take a look at these options.
