No more remote control

Hi there

I hope some has Solutions to my Problems, would realy be apreciated.

My TV: Samsung smart tv 3D, model: UE55ES6880SXZG.

2. issues. No.1: Cant connect to my WIFI Router anymore which has worked perfect in the past.

No 2: and this one is the important issue, suddenly i cant control my tv with the remote control. When starting the TV i Switch 2 or 3 times and then ist over, no more control by remote (of course i tryed putting new batteries) still no working. Maybe someone knowes this very Problem and can even give me a solution. Thank you very much in advance for any help at all

Thank you very much for your qick reply. First of all, yes thats the model. About Pairing yes thank you for the idea. But my TV is allready 1 1/2 years old and the remote was paired in the beginning and worked perfectly until about 4 days ago then the trouble started.

About WIFI, thanks again actually i want to do that allready, let the TV Forget the Connection. The Problem is, that i do not even get into the respective field where one can do that. I just open menue/Network and the WIFI Network. He starts surching for it just to give me the message that no WIFI could be found.

So you can see i'm a bit puzzled by my TV.... Any ideas?

Pairing can get lost.

I'd pop new batteries in the remote and re-pair.

As to the WiFi you may have to check the manual on how to reset the TV. That way it will remove old WiFi connections. Given how WiFi can be twitchy at over 20 feet on devices, are you sure it's close enough?

Thanks. Yes my TV and the Router are next to each other not even one meter. Also i'm using the remote with a distance of about 2 1/2 to 3 meters. And it cant be the remote of course new batteries and so on. But i downloaded an app in the playstore Samsung TV remote over WIFI. Connecting my TV to the Router by LAN cable. Same Problem. It works for about 4 times switching the channel or increasing/decreasing the volume and so on and after These four times ist the same Problem like with the TV remote control. Must be something with the TV.

OK if the wired connection is failing, try the old changing of the DNS entry to 8.8.8.8

As to the remote it could be the remote too. Sadly only a service tech may carry such along for a service check.

thanks i guess i have to get a Service technician because i just reset the tv to factury standart and i cant even program from the beginning because it will freeze up and the remote is useles after again 3 or 4 manipulations. thanks anyway and which u a good time bob.

Interesting note is pairing the remote control at the first look of that site page. I'd try that next.

As to WiFi, be sure the hotspot (router or such) is within 20 feet then have the TV forget any connections (switch to wired and back to WiFi) and try again.
