It's rare to see AGP cards that don't fit.
Have a more experienced PC builder check your work. It's not something I thing we'll fix without a visual check.
My first computer build and I have a question re: graphic cards. The MB is a shuttle AK39N, ATX ..Athlon XP 2800+, increased PS to 500w as recommended by computer forum.
Audio is composite w/MB, video is not. I have attempted 2 different inexpensive AGP boards and they do not fit the AGP slot properly and shut power to MB down. I DO NOT use computer for games, only read newspapers, some research and email. I intend to try a PCI video board, an inexpensive one. Will any PCI board allow me to have monitor use?
How can one even install OS or drivers without monitor use?
