I'm talking about the Mozilla Firefox review "Browser out of time, out of date" written by karakteran on August 13, 2015. The review has seven comments in which he offends me just because I have politely expressed my opinion about the separate address bar and search bar.

A week's over and the rude comments are still there.

I've asked admin to take it up with download.coms people. I looked at your post again and see the comments were made in "user reviews". We mods here cannot edit or delete there, which is why I've asked for it to be passed to download.com. I looked at the member's profile to see if anything could be done but because it's not a forum post, no joy.
Hope this explains things.
Dafydd.

Done.

The comments were removed. Thanks. And keep an eye on karakteran - it seems he insults everyone who has a different opinion than him.

And yes,

please test your abuse reporting tool. As I've mentioned above, I reported the comments (through the flag icon next to the comment) three times but it seems that the download.com moderators weren't notified.

I remember that there were some problems with reporting abuse about a year ago; I got an error email every time I tried to report a review (it seems that my Yahoo Mail was blocking reports from sending). This time, I didn't get any error emails but the comments obviously weren't flagged (you would delete them if they were). I have even changed my profile's email address to Gmail but it didn't make a difference.

(Or, maybe, the download.com staff just doesn't read abuse reports?)

In reply to: And yes,

Good to read it's done. I tried a test alert at download.com and didn't get notified of it, so it seems like it's a downloads.com thing.

In reply to: Hi LLI-JBS.

The CNET Forums is a completely separate system than Download.com User reviews--that why you didn't get notified of it.

It's a separate team that handles those alerts.

I hope this clarifies things.

... I thought as much, I just thought I'd test it for the OP's understanding. Maybe someone should open a Starbucks at download. Devil

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
