No mid files will play with Mozilla 1.6?

which plug in do I need so I can hear my .mid files? I have quick time and real player... ??
I just upgraded from Netscape 7.1 because I could not get IT to play my .mid files....thanks!

Go to this site and download the appropriate plug-in.
Please note that Crescendo is not longer available as several people have suggested.Windows media Player and Quicktime are your best bets!

I already have quick time installed....and realplayer as well....

Did you install the plug-ins in Mozilla?
For Midi files Beatnik is very effective. However it might require manual installation in Mozilla.

yes, I clicked on the 'help' menu item and it brough up a page of all the 'installed' plugins... everything is there except Beatnik...I will try to find the download for that and see if that works....none of the other plugins listed show me that they support the .mid files....?
