Question

No keyboard, anywhere

Ok so first I used avast clear, andthen I did a windows 10 update. After I did both these things, my keyboard stopped working. I Googled a solution. One solution told me to go to device management, find tge keyboard, this is where I get stuck, I can't find the keyboard it's no where to be found in my laptop. I have Asus ROG Gl702vm

No tge keyboard here either.

No tge keyboard. Here it's the group Keyboards. ALSO, if you have the Device Manager View set to "Devices by connection" then most folk can't find any keyboard.

Try a boot to Safe Mode (how is on the web) then be sure the View is "Devices by type" and remove all keyboards there.

--> Regarding Avast Clear. I can't guess where you got that from but let's hope it was from Avast since there are fake download sites that are Trojans.

Hi, gravedigger611:

Removing our software should not have affected your keyboard, so we'd like to ensure you got your copy of our Uninstall utility here. If you did, please contact us directly at avast-team@avast.com and we'll be happy to look into this unusual issue for you.
