If it's just your home wifi connection, maybe you should try re-initializing the router/modem to kick it back it to working condition. Turn OFF all computers on the network, then turn OFF the router (unplug or turn off the switch), then turn OFF the modem (if it's separate from the modem), then wait ten minutes. Now turn on the modem, wait 2 minutes for it to reinitialize, then turn ON the router (if it's separate from the modem), then turn on your computers/iPad.
If the iPad is having issues on all wifi networks, the it's probably the wifi adapter on the device.. The link below might help you get it up and running again.

Morning..I don't know if this is the right place for an apple question...My wife's ipad keeps dropping the wifi connection..now even though our family wifi shows up in settings we can't connect. It says that the password is not correct, which is bull since it's been the same for years. This happens often. Then out of the blue, she has internet the next day!?? Is there a setting or something I'm missing to correct this? Thanks I do believe it's an ipad 3?
