Question

No internet for desktop but wait there's more...

Aug 10, 2018 7:06PM PDT

I'm currently using my wireless internet to type this message from a Chromebook. My desktop has no wifi so I'm SOL on that end of the spectrum but here's where I need help. I have ethernet cables and have connected them to my computer and it still won't connect. Router and modem are fine, I've reset them and turned them off before and after plugging and unplugging this computer. I thought maybe it was a bad port on the router, nope no port works. I thought it was the cable, tried three different cables, nope. I am out of ideas as to why this is happening and it's quite frankly driving me insane. I also saw a message that said update drivers, which how do I do that without the internet?
Please help me out here
