No Internet Connection

Mar 9, 2009 11:20AM PDT

I have Roadrunner from Time Warner Cable and for about 3 weeks my brother had problems accessing the internet for a few hours at the same time in the evening. Time Warner said that a hacker got into their system so that they were trying to fix that problem during the time my brother was trying to get on the internet.
They finally fixed the problem but for the past 2 days I'm having problems again accessing the internet in the evening hours (around 5:30PM). Time Warner says that they have no reported outage and says that it might be my equipment. Well, I was using the computer all day with no problems until around 5:30PM. Yesterday my brother he rebooted the computer and it fixed the problem. I rebooted the computer tonight and it fixed the problem. Can anyone give me a reason why this is happening????
