no files in add/remove window in control panel

by rileyt / April 22, 2004 9:45 PM PDT

When I open add/remove programmes the window remains completely blank. As a result I have to manually remove progs which do not have an uninstaller built in. Any suggestions will be gratefully recieved!!

I experienced this problem awhile back when trying to upgrade MSN software. The only way I was able to get the files back in the add/remove window was by using system restore function to return to a time when they were in the window. When this happened even ADD/REMOVE PRO could not find them. Good Luck

I had this to happen to me once, mine occured when I was deleting a spy program called, Comet Cursors, it took my Add, Remove program out. All I done was restored my computer, and the, Add, Remove, came back.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
