Two possibilities.
1. TWEAKUI is the easy way to unhide drive letters in Explorer. I use a command window (DOS) to try DIR D: and other letters to see if this is the issue.
2. You didn't say if the drive was FDISKed and FORMATted with Windows 98.

No Drive Letter shown in my computer or windows explorer for USB IDE HD Enclosure, shows installed ok in device manager, but no drive letter.
Please help, don't have a network or any mapped network drives.
Please help, any suggestions will be appreciated, seems like I had the problem before and edited the registry but don't remember what I did.
Thank you from Ken Walker
