no display Help !!!

I was trying to install a different monitor and accidently disabled my video adapter or graphic controller thinking that a reboot would enable the devices. Now i have no display at all, i have done everthing to troubleshoot but it will not recognize any
video. I have microsoft xp OS,Emachine T-2385 system, 17 in KDS Flat Screen, intel 845GL chipset, Intel extreme 3d integrated. Thanks!!

Last time I lost my display, I found that the power plug in the back of it had come loose a bit. I was a little panicked for a minute because it was a NEW monitor.
