NO AUDIO ON DVD PLAYER

Feb 16, 2006 3:32PM PST

I am using Windows XP Home (Multimedia Edition) and have 512K ram on a Microstar motherboard with a 3.0 GHZ P4. Formerly, I got audio using Windows Media Player and InterActual DVD player when playing a DVD (playing the same DVD). I suddenly get no audio using these apps. I also tried installing & using WinDVD & got the same result. However, using PowerCinema, I get audio. All the necessary codecs are there. Does anyone know how to get the audio back (audio is there with some things). Or, has anyone had a similar experience? I'm stumped!
