No audio

I have a Emachines model t3406 I recently upgrade to 1 gig has xp and intel pentium dont know much else ..... I was deleting stuff i didnt use on change remove programs and I think I accidentally deleted something I should not have but don't know what and now I have no audio I checked and rechecked all wire cables etc. restated computer and I cant find in the recycle bin what was erased any advice?

Reinstall The eMachines Drivers...Specifically..

..the audio drivers for your computer. They may be found on the Recovery disc or the recovery partition or by visiting the eMachines website to find the specific audio driver in question.
