No ADSL light on Belkin router

May 1, 2007 4:50AM PDT

Hi. I hope somebody can help. I have a wireless Belkin router about 2 years old. Suddenly (overnight) the ADSL light has gone off and I have no internet connection through it. The power light and the wireless light are still on. I have contacted my ISP who assure me all is well from their side and I have installed a Speedtouch modem which does connect with no problem. I have tried switching the telephone connection and the filter but nothing happens. I have, of course, tested the connections. I have contacted Belkin but they have not been very helpful as yet.
Can someone please give me any ideas.
Tina

They do die. . .

My D-link router lasted about 6 months.

You might try a hard reboot or press the reset button. If that fails a new one is in order.

Thank you very much for your reply. I think you are right it has died. Belkin have now offered a replacement when I send it back which I think is pretty good for a 2 year old (the router not me!!!)
Best wishes
Tina
