No Address bar

Hi ,
I have a problem with my internet explorer, the issue is that the address bar is not displayed and due to this , I am unable to log on to the internet and also I cannot see as to where I am actually browsing on the Hard disk .
I Checked the address bar in the View - tools menu of the internet explorer.
Please let me know if I can sort this problem or should I download explorer again .

Thanks!

joelanandkumar, Right click the Toolbar and Unlock the Toolbars then to the left of the word Address you'll see either a perforated verticle line or what appears to be a verticle handle, move your cursor over that verticle line or handle until it turns into a 2 sided arrow then hold your left mouse button down and drag either downwards or left/right until the Address bar appears then release the left mouse button. You can now right click your Toolbar and "Lock the Toolbars".

joelanandkumar, "but as soon a I lock the tools bars, I do not get any vertical perforated bar"

You must unlock the toolbars to see that verticle line or handle to the left of the word Address. You won't see it if Lock the toolbars is checkmarked.

joelanandkumar, Go to the link below and under the letter "T" scroll down to "Toolbar - Missing" and Download the Toolbar Repair Utility by clicking on the underscored word "here". Save it where you can find it and double click it to run it.

I'm assuming you're running Windows XP and IE6.
