Question

Nikon tethering through grip

There is limited info about if you can access data from the grip connections at the bottom of the camera. Nikon has released a device w-7 that is a grip that uses Ethernet to tether as well as WiFi but uses an otg cable to access data and of course the D4 and D5 have ehternet built in. I would like to attempt to get the data from the grip rather than the USB port since the are fragile. Anyone have insight on this?
