Nikon D40 or Panasonic NV GS300

by shahrokhan / December 23, 2006 5:41 AM PST

This post is a sort of double post because it regards both camcorders and digital SLRs.

I have done research about these products so I am not asking about there technical capabilities. I am asking about practical use.
For family shooting, point and shooting etc what would you rather use:the camcorder or the dSLR?
This questions does sound a bit stupid but I am asking this because I can get both the products for about $620. Same price.
What would you prefer to use.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
