Both cameras are 6 megapixels with 10X optical zoom.
And they are priced just about the same.
Here is a side-by-side look at the specifications:
Either would be a good choice.
It sounds like you have had your hands on both cameras.
Which did you like best?
Neither of these cameras have image stabilization.
10X Cameras with that feature will be larger and cost from $100 to $150 more.
Regarding using moving pics w/sound on a web site.
Such things can be attractive but not to anyone who uses dial-up to get on the internet. Those type of files are quite large.
I am not very digital camera smart, but I am shopping for a camera that I can use for pics to sell on ebay; plus, I have a web site and I'm thinking it would probably be useful to have the moving pics w/sound feature. I get very confused because there is so much out there, but I have kind of narrowed it down to the 2 listed. Maybe I am way off - can someone give me some good info? I, of course, want to be able to take some good point and shoot pics too. While shopping, I was also shown a camera that had a stablizer that "stilled" the shot easily but have forgotten which camera that was. Your input will be greatly appreciated!
