The blur is caused by camera movement while taking a photo.

When taking photos in low lighting situations, the camera will be using a slow shutter speed.
Probably slower than 1/60th of a second.

It is difficult to hold a camera steady enough to prevent blur, when using slow shutter speeds.

You may have better luck if you do not use ''party/indoor'' mode - just use ''Auto'' mode.

Things to do in low lighting:

Hold the camera so that your right thumb is on the bottom of the camera. This prevent you from moving the camera as you press down on the shutter. Slowly press down on the shutter button.

Lean your shoulder against a wall or post while taking photos.
or
Sit the camera on a solid surface when taking photos
or
use a tripod.

The S3 is no more difficult to use than any other digital camera.

There are lots of features on the camera and it takes time to learn how to use them.

Don't try to learn them all at one time.
You can't.

Just use the camera in auto mode for a while and when you have a need for one of the featues, get the owner's manual out and learn about it.
