Night light not functioning and fortnite not running in full

by raiderr / December 5, 2017 12:15 AM PST

Hey guys, yesterday I updated my windows 10. I currently am running version 1709. After updating yesterday I lost the ability to play fortnite in fullscreen mode. Whenever I turn on fullscreen I get this weird disturbance on the monitor and basically can't see anything. I also noticed that the night light function isn't working after this update. Anyone got any idea of bugs or what might cause this?

the update was the "bug"
by James Denison / December 5, 2017 1:13 AM PST

It means you need to reinstall those programs because some file or files in the update over wrote something the programs needed. If a reinstall of those doesn't solve it, then will need to reinstall the driver files for your computer's motherboard from the manufacturer's site. It's a real pisser, but has been happening to a lot of windows users this past update cycle.

I have to go get and install the video driver for the machine.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
