Nice gesture by Spicer

May 10, 2017 1:39PM PDT

Not available for afternoon news conferences...because of Naval reserve commitments...comes in after hours and holds meeting in the bushes AND the dark, to get the word out....

After Spicer spent several minutes in the bushes, an assistant emerged and said Spicer would answer questions

After Spicer spent several minutes hidden in the bushes behind these sets, Janet Montesi, an executive assistant in the press office, emerged and told reporters that Spicer would answer some questions, as long as he was not filmed doing so. Spicer then emerged.

“Just turn the lights off. Turn the lights off,” he ordered. “We’ll take care of this… Can you just turn that light off?”

Spicer got his wish and was soon standing in near darkness between two tall scrubs, with more than a dozen reporters closely gathered around him. For 10 minutes, he responded to a flurry of questions, vacillating between light-hearted asides and clear frustration with getting the same questions over and over again.

I'm wondering IF they "dug up" Kelly Anne while they were out in the bushes...I see she is back....she went "to ground" a few days ago....now she's back....

Discussion is locked

Mike Huckaby's daughter is Spicer's backup

She was on yesterday for a pretty long 'presser' and did a really good job.

I don't think so....even IF YOU consider deflecting and denying is considered "a really good job".

MSNBC "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski told White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders to her face she was "not telling the truth right now" about investigations into alleged ties between the Russians and Donald Trump's presidential campaign.

Sanders said there was no evidence of any collusion, adding that even MSNBC host Joe Scarborough had said so. Scarborough interrupted, clarifying he said there was no "obvious" evidence of collusion and there needed to be in-depth investigations into the matter.

It's getting more and more difficult for TheRUMP to keep his stories/lies straight....

I wonder IF TheRUMP pulled some strings to get Spicer on "reserve duty"?.....

A change is as good as a rest?

Isn't it amazing even to you

that after 8 months of investigating the Russia 'ties' to Trump and his campaign that the heads of Obama's national security departments have ALL said there is NO evidence of collusion, and yet the Dems in Congress and their liberal media lapdogs are still insisting there 'must be but it just hasn't shown up yet'? How long do you think the taxpayer should continue to have to foot the bill for wasted time and effort into something they haven't been able to find? With all the leaks that have come from former BO supporters within those agencies, don't you think they would have made damn sure ANY evidence would have already been leaked?

Trump doesn't have to keep his stories straight when the same story doesn't change....no matter how many times the media or Dems in Congress try to make it so.....all the while changing THEIR stories every day to fit their OWN narrative/agenda.

If you watched Huckabee's presser, you would know she wasn't deflecting or diverting ANY of the questions being thrown at her, even when they were ALL the same questions over and over again in attempts to 'trip her up'. The tactic didn't work because when you state the truth, you don't have to try to 'remember what you said', which is something the Dems in Congress should be learning since even up to two weeks ago were still condemning Comey and wanted him fired, with hilLIARy still blaming him for her loss in her interview a week ago. Now that he IS fired and gone, they're all crying the same song and objecting to his being fired now....why? Because it was TRUMP who fired him so it MUST be because Comey was 'getting too close' to the "Russia connection". Same old lies and made up crap even when after 8 months nobody has been able to find a connection of any kind.

Hypocrisy from the Dems is once again raising it's head in public statements.....

Trump doesn't have to keep his stories straight when the same story doesn't change

In Heated Exchange, Kellyanne Conway Battles Anderson Cooper Over Comey Dismissal

When Conway again tried to separate President Trump from statements he made on the campaign, Cooper responded, “So that person doesn’t exist anymore? Candidate Donald Trump, that’s a fictional character we are no longer allowed to refer to? We can only refer to the Donald Trump who exists today?”

As a "different person"...it's NOT a different "story" from the same person?

TheRUMP has multiple personalities?

Trump often refers to himself by his surname, rather than by using the words “me” and “I.”

It’s a habit that Harvard Medical School professor Elsa Ronningstam says people with “an exaggerated view of how great” they are sometimes use to make themselves appear even bigger
