NFL Headcoach download problem

by EEType3 / October 16, 2007 7:55 PM PDT

Last night I downloaded 'NFL Headcoach demo' which I thought was headed for my 'downloads' folder, but it never appeared (it took 9 hours to download). I've looked in 'My Documents' with no success, and done a full pc search which showed nothing.
Does any one know where else I could look, or is it likely the download simply failed (I have Vista by the way).
I'd be be grateful for any help.

Start the download again. When the downloader pops up to ask you to save or run, select save and look at where the file starts to download to on your computer. Find that folder and see if the file is there. If it's not, then it must not have downloaded.

It must be a pretty good sized file to take 9 hours to download. I couldn't check because that program is not at This forum is for problems with downloads that actually come from the site.

If you have problems downloading from a different site, there's nothing anyone here can do about it. You will have to check with the site you are trying to download the file from. If you are still having problems downloading the file, I would check there first. If you don't get any help there, you can always create a new thread at CNET in the appropriate forum. I hope you can find the answer to your problem.

I did another search at with just "NFL" instead the whole name and did find one product called:

NFL Head Coach updated demo

It looks like this is a demo product and not a whole program. Is this the file you are having problems with? If that's the case, then you did post in the correct place and someone should be able to help you.

Try what I suggested in my first post. If that doesn't help, let us know.

The demo was what I was after, so it's a relief I was sort of right, at least I know it was all legitimate. I can't decipher where the download destination is when I click on it, plus I have to try and secure our pc for nine hours!. I get the feeling that last night's download simply didn't work, I might try again or I could pay EA

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
