General discussion

Newsletter?

I'm thinking of starting a newsletter, that would be mailed to listeners who sign up. It would so far include:

> Shownotes (links to things we've talked about)
> Bios on Tom, Molly, and (maybe) me.
> Info on guests, and who may be coming up on later interviews.

What other stuff would you guys like to see? Is this something you'd like to get in the mail? Daily, or weekly? Let me know!

I'd love to have a newsletter including shownotes (for those rare times that I can't listen) but mostly I'd like the links to stuff that was discussed on the day's podcast. Maybe there could be a daily one with the mudane stuff like shownotes and Links, and then a once a week one with some commentary and maybe a summary of interesting stuff that was said on the message boards.

hmm!

I like the idea of a brief daily, followed by a weekly, more detailed letter. Good suggestions!!

I agree that a good newsletter (along with a rss feed so you can subscribe as an rss feed instead of an email if you like) is a great idea. I also think that Veronica definately needs to have a bio if Tom and Molly get one!

Hehe!

I'll pass that along Wink

Forget about the bio, Veronica needs her own fan club / web site.

I think that having a newsletter would be great. It would allow people to have easy access to information relating to the subjects in the podcast and would allow a better understanding of the subject.
As far as how often you should have a newsletter, I think it would make sense to have one to go along with each podcast including the information that you stated.
