Newbie needs help charging my new unbranded MP3 player

by shanemckay / March 21, 2007 9:46 PM PDT

Hello all, I have just bought an unbranded recharable MP3 player. I live in the UK but the unit was purchased in China. The user manual that came with it was only 4 pages long and was in very pidgeon English. THe MP3 player has a built in rechargaable battery. I have set up the device correctly and all I need to do is charge it up. This is pretty unclear in the manual and after sticking the device onto the charger for an hour I only get a few minutes playback before the machine turns itself off because the battery is fully discharged.
The charger has two lights on it: a red one that comes on when I turn on the plug; the second light is a green one that comes on and then goes off by itself after a few minues. It is the green one that is giving me the problems. I don't know if it has to be on or off to charge the battery. This is the first mep3 player that I have bought that has a recharable battery so I am feeling my way. Has anybody got any advice?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
