Newbie needs help

Now I have my ADSL working.... I'd now like to wirelessly connect my laptop to my PC....

Apart from sharing files and resources.... I want to be able to connect to the internet through my PC...

I THINK I have enough hardware, but I don't know! I bought a book - Wireless Networks for Dummies - and it sort of suggests I DON'T!

Can you anyone me if I do?

On my PC, I have a PRISM 802.11g Wireless Adapter (3890)

On my laptop, I have bought a Linksys 2.4Ghz Home Wireless-G PC card.

Is this sufficient hardware to enable me to share, as I said, files/resources and link my laptop wirelessly to the net through my PCs dsl connection?

I still have to set this up... but no point in even trying if this is not enough hardware! I don't really want to spend any more money...

Your missing component....

appears to be some form of router to distribute the broadband. Unless your DSL modem provides that function or you choose to use an ADHOC configuration for your wireless adapters and ICS to share the Internet.
