New Y! Client for Mac / STILL NO CHATROOMS!

by CosmolineDream / July 29, 2006 7:04 AM PDT

So Yahoo has a new chat client for mac but wait... did they resolve the biggest and most requested resolution for chatroom functionality? No. So why did they release this new client without addressing the such a big issue? Well first off I can say that the codec required for this functionality is TrueSpeech. Now according to Y! this codec is supposidly only available for windows but I have found work arounds for osx simply using the terms "truespeech" and "OSX" on goole. So what is the problem Y!? Do they not appreciate the mac community? Do they hate us? Are they too lazy to take care of both platforms? or is their development team not able to overcome this obstacle. Hopefully someone from Y! might catch this post and see me challenging them again to face the music and support the mac community. The lack of support is a slap in the face to us Yahoo. Get with the program!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
