New XP 64 legal copy

Wxp pro 64 AMd pro. 528 mem. Formated HD and tried install XP Pro.
Get error attempting to load an x64 op sys.however this cpu is not compatiable with x64 mode. What do I need to do to install?

Assuming I understand your situation correctly, you can't do that. Windows XP Professional x64 can only be installed on computers with 64-bit processors, so if your AMD processor is not 64-bit then you cannot install that operating system on that computer. You'll have o stick with standard 32-bit versions of Windows.
