New website being developed[ need assistance ]

Feb 11, 2013 5:21AM PST

Hello, my name is Bryce Randolph. I am a 60 year old construction worker that invents on the side. In the past I have spent a lot of money trying to promote my inventions, only to be told that it was against protocall and I feel now is the best time to try a different approach. I would like to start a website for inventors. A place where an inventor can list his or hers, ideas,
Drawings, prototypes, so that investors can review them and hopefully pursue them. All at no charge to either. A non-disclosure should suffice for both parties. Also included on this site would be access to other professional services needed to advance their inventions. I would also like to showcase new inventions that are just now making it to the marketplace. [ free publicity ] My problem is I know nothing about web design or how to run a website. What I can offer is a percentage of future profits. I am certain there will be monies made from referrals of companies listed on the site. And perhaps a small charge to get started for the inventors. Is there a grad student out there that can help, and be a part of this project. I am going to make this happen, hopefully sooner than later. In 1978 I was building mobile home parks for my parents. There was four parks side by side. We were just outside of city limits, and Viacom refused to give us service. I told the manager of Viacom that I wanted to start my own CATV co to service all the people in my area. He told me I couldn't do it. Well guess what? It took me a year to go thru all the red tape, planning dept.,building dept.
But in 1979 I opened my doors. Rapid Vision was born. I ran it for 9 years. Nowadays with the Internet it is easier to start something, and if it is what people want it can be very lucrative. So, if anyone would like to throw their 2 cents in, I appreciate any help.
Thank you Bryce.
