Trying to select a laptop for my brother. Which CPU would be better?

If not my laptop tobisha a135-s4447 has the 1.73 core duo and i very happy with it Since it runs Vista I am going to up grade it with two giggs keep the old sticks until your warranty is over.and buy good memory like crucial Newegg sells for a good price

alot laptopa done away with s-video,pcmi,and not enough usb ports. mine has 4 usb ports which is spread around the base and still have the rest of the ports!!!!
