Scanning a negative is the same as scanning any photo or print matter, the outcome is a positive of whatever you scan, what you will see on your monitor is an exact print copy of your negative.
I suggest you scan your negs onto your pc and look at the result before committing yourself to any rash expenditure.
I am about to purchase a transparency adapter for my Epson flatbed scanner .After I scan a negative , what software do I need to change negative to positive ? I was looking at Adobe Photo Elements 3.0 . Will this do this transfer ? I am new to Digital Photography and understand how to download compact flash but I have many negatives that I would like to save as photo's .
